My Front-End
Engineer down to my bone marrow
Mechatronics and UX come together as a potent set of skills for a competence shift - from purely mechanic and/or less-than-optimal Human-System Interface toward smarter solutions that incorporate electronics and a user-friendlier interface that is FUN to operate, maybe like playing a computer game.
It is a step that many companies are struggling with, and a solid business case for anyone who has some skills in both areas: Mechatronics (=Mechanical+electronics engineering) AND the empathic UX chip in his/her arsenal.
Since I thrive on teamwork, figuring out the map of the territory and the inventive step that follows when the system is encrypted and use-cases are mapped, I sincerely believe I could potentially belong in almost any outfit.
Not a "one-trick pony".
More like a generalist who excels at combining skills and experience to perform different things - make myself useful. And anything of interest that can be learned.
I strive for zero waste.
I thrive on challenges to my taste.
I need a challenge to stay sharp, become sharper.
Besides being proficient at mechanical engineering, mechatronics and the stuff I should be able to do, e.g. language use and empathy, I have gathered along the years that I have a nose for patterns. Thinking with all areas of my knowledge and using my brain a little different than most do, I often reach easier original solutions and conclusions.
